In the past couple of months I've had the pleasure of working with a couple of amazing women celebrating new life, transformation, inner beauty, and personal growth.
One of my dream clients was Tara, who found me and asked to do a fine art shoot. Together, we worked to create images that are exclusively her - at this time in her life -- having waited 30 years since her last photo shoot. Carefully planned, we shot for nearly six hours in a few locations, and had fun covering many aspects of who she is. This is longer than I generally shoot, but this was going to be the only photo shoot she would do for at least another 20 years, so I was all in!
An artist, a seeker, a woman through and through, I aimed to capture many aspects of Tara and her interests in life.
Here are a few shots from that day:
This was my second time working with Jessica and her family, and I was thrilled and honored to be part of capturing her pregnancy with her second child - a little girl --coming very soon. She always loves my conceptual images, so I decided to put the butterflies to work again! A few images from this shoot:
This post is part of a 10 on 10 circle of women photographers. There are just a few of us this month, with Summer vacations and all, but please follow around the circle, and check out the work of Trine Lise Nilsen, all the way from Norway.
Hope you're all enjoying your Summer!
